ALBILEX^®-AKTIV-des

The disinfectant ALBILEX^®-AKTIV-des is based on a mixture of hydrogen peroxide (<50 %), silver ions (~500 ppm) and peracetic acid (<5 %). ALBILEX^®-AKTIV-des is specially designed for very severe microbiological contamination cases and is used for the disinfection of drinking-water piping systems, storage tanks and wells.

Application

Use in piping systems: ALBILEX^®-AKTIV-des is directly injected to the water when filling the pipe section to be disinfected by means of a dosing-kit. The filling process under addition of ALBILEX^®-AKTIV-des is to be continued until the measured hydrogen peroxide concentration is up to 500 ppm at the outflow.

Disinfection of piping-systems: The concentration of ALBILEX^®-AKTIV-des is measured by means of ALBILEX^®-H2O2-test-sticks (Art-No.: 190151).

Disinfection of surfaces: ALBILEX^®-AKTIV-des is diluted with water according to the above table. The disinfectant is applied to the surface of the tank with a low-pressure sprayer. After an exposure time of 12 hours rinse off disinfectant with fresh water and refill tank.
